A perfect place for someone coming to the Hays area for short special occasion stay or get a discounted special rate for extended stay. Best suited for a single person; single bed and twin air mattress provided for extra person on the floor if needed. No pets or smoking please. This is a very nice basement apartment. With separate private entrance. There is a tenant upstairs, but she and older boys are quiet, well behaved. They do have a small dog which is quite in the house, harmless. Close to downtown shopping and historic attractions. Parking on street is available, no parking fees. We live right across the street if guests need anything, we’re on it! Historic downtown Chestnut Street district within walking distance. Parking right out front of house, unloading permitted in driveway with few feet of doorway. Washer and dryer, storage room and some limited outdoor storage very handy for longer term guest working in Hays area. Amenities are provided for short stay guests. Any cleaning or other supplies like coffee, condiments, bathroom supplies needed beyond one week is responsibility of the guests.
