Updated winter retreat near Carrabassett Valley

This centrally-located get-away in the western Maine mountains is perfect for outdoor adventures. We are just 9 miles from Sugarloaf Ski Resort and Bigelow Preserve, and less than 30 miles from Saddleback Mountain. Snowmobile trails & rentals are 0.3 miles from our front door! Access hiking trails nearby, including the Appalachian Trail. Fishing, swimming, and boating are available close by on Flagstaff Lake. Restaurants, bars, and local stores located in the village of Stratton are walkable. This home has been recently updated and includes a brand new kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware, dining room seating for up to 8, and living room space with a Roku TV and two reclining couches on the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs featuring a king and two queen beds. (The third bedroom is through the second, but has its own door providing both rooms privacy.) Off street parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. Available by phone during your stay, should you need any recommendations, amenities, or further support. Backstrap Bar and Grill, Flagstaff General Store, a playground, snowmobile rentals, trails and more are all walkable from our place (less than 0.5 mile).
