Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Just 4 miles northwest of Weiser, our place sits on the hillside overlooking the “Flat” of Weiser. In mid-October of 2022 we’re adjusting the bed arrangement to sleep 7, instead of 9. We have 5 acres with an expansive view of the surrounding farmland and mountains. We built the guest house ourselves in 2008 and moved in in 2009. While saving and planning for our main house we lived in the residence for 5 years. The living, dining and kitchen areas are open in one large space. There is a comfortable leather reclining couch and loveseat. Recently we bought a 50” LG television with an internet connection. There is a large dining table for seating up to 10. I have extra chairs, if you need more, just let me know. The kitchen is fairly well stocked. If you need something specific or have questions feel free to contact me. The bedrooms are spacious and have bedside stands, lamps and convenient charging stations. In the upstairs hallway I have tubs of extra pillows, sheets and a few more blankets, just in case. Both bathrooms have a vanity and a shower. In each bathroom there are extra towels, toiletries and toilet paper. There is a back patio on the east side of the house with a dining table and six patio chairs with an amazing view. There is also a smaller patio area on the south side over looking the flat. Since we are 4 miles from downtown, I’d recommend using a vehicle to get around. Recreational walking, biking and hiking are very popular in our area. We do have parking space for four vehicles in front of the guest house and garage. We do have additional parking above the house next to our trailer, camper and boat. I love meeting and visiting with guests, but want to give our guests personal space for their stay. I can be contacted most easily by text. I am happy to answer any questions or assist guests with anything they need help with. If I am out of town during your stay, I will leave you a note with my contact information, if you have any questions. We are in a rural setting with a handful of families living up our drive. There is plenty of parking at our home site. In our area we have people walking, running, biking up the draw east of our property. If you continue up Jenkins Creek Road you can eventually access Payette National Forest, with an all terrain vehicle or 4 wheel drive vehicle.
