(Please note: the steps up to your bedroom are steep and narrow. ) Outside you have a patio, a barbecue and a garden with a pond and mature trees. Please look at the photos of the garden: for most it is the key feature of the property, but as you see, it is a cottage garden, not a park garden and it may be too wild for some, although it is maintained weekly by a professional gardener. The cottage is at the very end of a private lane, so it is a very peaceful location, overlooking fields. You can park your car outside the cottage or in the area accessed by a five-bar gate. (About 5 percent of guests have found parking awkward, for the rest there has been no problem.) You can park your car outside the cottage or in the area accessed by a five bar gate. About 5 percent of guests have found parking awkward, for the rest there has been no problem. If you have a large car, you may wish to consider this. There is a footpath immediately outside the front door, and another interesting circular walk can be made by crossing the A1066 at the end of the lane and going past the church. It takes about 5 minutes to drive into Diss which has supermarkets, a good choice of restaurants, and some historic sights to see in the Heritage Triangle. I am always delighted to help guests. If I'm not at home please ring me or email me. The accommodation is set in the Norfolk countryside, in a very tranquil location at the end of a no-through lane. You will be three miles from the historic market town of Diss and a five minute drive from the Lopham/Redgrave Nature reserve. You are also 11 miles from Thetford forest with its network of tracks for cyclists and walkers, and the Norfolk coast is a thirty minute drive away. The lane is a turning off the A1066. It is a five-minute drive along this road to Diss. Alternatively, it is a twenty minute walk along footpaths to Bressingham village shop. Please note that it is not an entirely separate property. The other half of the cottage is occupied by me for most of the year. You will not hear a tv, music or loud noises, but you may hear a door closing or a tap running. The guest suite is separated from the rest of the cottage by two doors, one of which has a bolt on your side for your complete privacy. If you have any queries, please contact me at any time. If there is anything you are unhappy about, please let me know immediately and I will sort it out immediately. I want you to have a great stay! Before your stay, the property will have been thoroughly cleaned by a professional cleaner.
