( they sometimes use the end of driveway as a turn around ) The back yard is open with complete privacy for enjoying a nighttime campfire with music. The front yard is huge and can be enjoyed for the busy person to sit and watch the busy Rt 6 traffic flow by. Party in the back, business in the front 😊. Extremely safe neighborhood. May just get a visit from the neighborhood kitty cat along with various wildlife. You will need a vehicle to travel the 3 minute trip to downtown Wellsboro. We are perfectly located out of town on a non secluded hillside. Taxi terminal is just 2 minutes away. Mansfield University is only 13 minutes away. Take a walk or ramble around the back roads with just a right turn out the driveway. Parking is never a problem. Uber, Lyft or door dash are not available although, a few local restaurants do deliver to WallDot. Grocery store is just a 3min drive away. Elmira and Williamsport airports are 45 min away. Zip on up to N.Y State (45min drive) and check out The Corning museum of glass and visit Market Street for dining and shopping while you are there. Go a little further and hit up some great NYS wineries. Quirks and things to mention: The 60 year old hard wood floors are sometimes a little creaky and cold. ( Bring your favorite slippers ) You might get a smell of 😬sulfur when the water is first turned on. A water softener is in use. Filtered water will be available in the refrigerator. Water has been tested and is safe to drink. Bring bottled water if you wish. Keep in mind we are in a rural area so insects can and will get in at times. 😬 Rt 6 traffic noise may be noticed.. but usually not. Very peaceful on the back patio. Original 60 year old gas stove works great... likes to be pampered with a slow turn of the knobs...just like grandpa used to do. The vintage top load washer will get your clothes as clean as grandma used to, but may steal a sock or two-just like the good’ole days” ( coin laundry available 2 minutes away if you’d rather)
