A unique getaway for couples, friends, and families alike, come for the peaceful solitude or use its location as a respite from the endless adventures available in the area. Daisy Wander offers a chance to explore both yourself and the great outdoors. The cabin is located in the quiet community of Gold Bar, WA. It is set back on a spacious lot with a long driveway and year-round access. The cabin has a main floor bedroom, an open loft bedroom, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. High-speed internet is available. The cabin’s design allows for a warm and snug environment between the upper loft and main floor. Kids will enjoy the loft, being able to overlook below. Gather around to converse, play board games, or enjoy a movie. As you step out back, there is a fire pit available for s’mores and a gazebo for added shelter for outdoor activities. You’re also steps away from the private riverfront access. Your heart will find peace here. The cabin’s location offers access to endless outdoor adventures that only the Pacific Northwest can provide. Activities include the slopes at Stevens Pass and plenty of trails, rivers, and lakes - Eagle Falls, Wallace Falls State Park, Lake Serene, Bridal Veil Falls, Barclay Lake, and Blanca Lake are just a few of the nearby locales. Skip the long drive back after a day’s activities and rejuvenate here. Guests have full access to the entire cabin and private riverfront beach. Plenty of parking in the driveway. We won't be on the property but we will be available for anything you need during your stay. Big Bend is a residential and recreational community that fronts on the picturesque Skykomish River. It is a peaceful riverfront retreat on scenic State Highway 2 on the way to Stevens Pass. Convenient shopping, post office and other community services are available nearby in Gold Bar, about 7 minutes from the cabin. The cabin has a steep staircase to access the loft area. It may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. The on-site firewood can be used. Please be sure to read and understand the house rules, especially regarding clean-up and check-in/check-out times.
