Tranquil newly renovated 3 bedroom farmhouse

This spacious, newly renovated 2 story heated farmhouse on 5 acres in Jacksonville overlooks a pond. Located within 20 min of Mt Snow, 4 mi to the Catamount cross country trail & Harriman reservoir. It sleeps 6, has a rustic mudroom equipped with a washer/dryer, a study that doubles as a 3rd bedroom, hardwood floors, a fully equipped kitchen & a gas fire view stove. First floor bath has a double shower & vanity. Upstairs is a yoga room & 2 bedrooms off an adjoining bath. This is is a fully heated 1840 Farmhouse that we just totally renovated except for the screened in porch and mudroom/laundry area. The kitchen has butcher blocked countertops, new appliances, including a dishwasher, and is fully equipped to whip up any meal. On the first floor, off the dining room, there is a study with a lovely antique desk and book shelves. It has a futon couch made with wool battening and a foam core (very comfy) that pulls out to a queen size platform bed and serves as our third bedroom. There is also a full bath downstairs with a large tiled spa shower with 2 shower heads and a double sink vanity. Upstairs there is a yoga room at the top of the stairs along with 2 more bedrooms joined by a bathroom. The master has a queen size bed and the back bedroom has a really nice queen size mattress on the floor. A nice set up for a family. All natural fiber linens are supplied including pillows. Off street parking on a country tar road. 2/10 mile from the center of Jacksonville where you can catch rte 100N to go to Wilmington and Mt. Snow. I will be available by phone or email. Quiet country lane on a tar road overlooking a beautiful little pond with a waterfall. We are 2/10 mi from Rte 100 and to the center of Jacksonville. VAST snow mobile trails border our property. There are is no other houses on our side of the street and 4 lovely neighbors across the street. A vehicle is necessary. Off street parking available. Located 20 minutes from Mt. Snow, and 10 min from Wilmington, Vt, 35 minutes from Brattleboro & Bennington, Vt and 30 min from Greenfield, Ma. All of these towns have unique shops and delicious local restaurants, many with outdoor dinning in the good weather. We are very health conscious. Not only do we do Air B&B's 5 step enhanced cleaning but we also have a high end virus filter on our hot air furnace and we put 24 hours between reservations. When we put together this house we tried to reduce toxic products and to be environmentally conscious. We used green guard certified products where ever possible. It is amazing how much plastic is used in the world and this house has been an experiment in how we could reduce our consumption of it, from trading lamented countertops for wood and quartz, to using natural fibers in our linens, curtains, and area rugs, to reducing the use of plastic products in our kitchen and baths. We have not always succeeded. Sometimes it seemed more practical to have a plastic lined trash cans so we could just rinse them out and avoid the use of throw away plastic bags and a plastic pump bottle in the shower. However, we have significantly reduced our use by using Gove cleaning products to Apply Valley shampoo bars.
