Situated on acres of open views, with farm animals, treehouse and basketball court, the Etts Farm Guest House is the getaway you’ve been dreaming about. Cook for your family and friends in the open layout kitchen and living area. In season, share our delicious Etts Farm eggs and pick your own veggies. If cooking isn’t your thing, take a quick, scenic ride to Rhinebeck, Millbrook or the Culinary Institute to enjoy some of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Curl up on the cozy couch with a good book or binge watch your favorite show on the large flat screen. This well stocked house has all the books, board games and childrens toys you could ever need. Each of the light filled bedrooms are incredibly special. The Master Suite has a king size bed, 2 large closets and an en-suite beautifully renovated bathroom. The second bedroom also has a king size bed and desk, perfect for those looking to “work from home.” The third bedroom has a twin size bed and plush reading chair. Mini crib and high chair available on request. During your stay, visit the area’s quaint wineries, hike the beautiful trails or pick up fresh produce at local farms. Centrally located between Millbrook and Rhinebeck. A 40 minute ride to skiing at Catamount or antiquing in Hudson. Available before and during your stay to answer any questions. All within a 5-8 min drive: Jeannie Bean is a coffee/breakfast/sandwich store down the street. It’s very convenient for a quick bite to eat. Stewart’s is a well known convenience store chain that is also gas station. It has surprisingly pretty great ice cream. Hackett Farm Supply is a farm store, but also has great locally sourced breads, baked goods and other random odds and ends. Harker House is a great wine store down the street. Ruby Hill Farms is also a small store with local goods and they have a small petting zoo next to the store. Quattros Farm Store is an amazing butcher (chickens and turkeys are raised there and they bring everything else in from the best places in the country). The roasted turkey breast is amazing, as are their house made sausages and mozzarella. If you have any plans to cook while you’re here it’s a must visit place. A bit farther are La Caviste (wine store) and Big Rock Community Farms (a local grocer). Millbrook: 15 min drive Barbaro is an Italian restaurant with great pizzas and Italian food. Babette’s has good coffee and great house made breads and pastries. Canoe Hill was a great restaurant in town but during covid basically became a fancy grocer with great salads and prepared goods. Their coffee is my favorite in Millbrook. Merritt Book Store is an adorable local book and toy store. The owner, Kira, has read every book in the store. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town. The playground in Millbrook is so much fun too! Rhinebeck: 20 minute drive Bread Alone is a famous bakery (Whole Foods carries their bread now). They have great coffee, bread, breakfast and lunch. They used to have sit down service but I don’t think they do since covid. Please check if they are seating if it’s something you’re interested in. Take out is also great. Amsterdam is probably the best restaurant around, but I think since covid they might only have outdoor seating. Cinnamon has wonderful Indian food. Definitely recommend. Le Petite Bistro is very good French food. The sledding is great at Drayton Grant Park at Burger Hill which is on the way to Rhinebeck.
