Welcome to Mountain River Lodge & Cabins where luxury meets wilderness in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. In the heart of Lake George, CO, where the mountains are your playground. Your base camp is a collection of five star cabins fitted with luxury amenities. Enjoy a day of world class fly fishing, Paddle boarding, Kayaking or fishing at Eleven Mile reservoir, ATV, boating, biking hiking, hunting, fossil beds to name a few! In the evening enjoy our beautiful patio and cook up your own meal! The cabin itself is 600 square feet. Free Wi-Fi in each cabin! A maximum of two dogs are welcome, under 50 lbs. for an additional $25/night fee. This unit is a two-bedroom cabin. The master bedroom has a queen bed, large HDTV, dresser for clothing, with top of the line linens and comforter. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a bench with basket storage and a TV with a Firestick. The kitchen has a nice big countertop, sink, Keurig coffee maker, an undermount microwave, Cuisinart Induction cooktop, toaster oven, 1 skillet, 1 boiling pan/pot and kitchen dishes and accessories. The living room is a big open area with a beautiful leather couch that pulls out to a bed, a big HDTV and a dining table that seats 4. One of the favorite things that guests love is the heated and lighted toilet seat. Enjoy watching Direct TV on your large SMART HDTV. Don't forget to bring your Firestick or log in credentials! We bring luxury to the wilderness! You have two dedicated parking spots directly next to your cabin. There is additional parking across from the main house. I won’t be available in person There is not a staff member on site at all times. The main house and all of the cabins are private rentals. The owners live on property about 30% of the time and the staff has access to the main house lower level for laundry and cleaning supplies. You will be provided plenty of details and contact info if you may need something. Lake George is quaint and beautiful. Within in a short distance there are so many things to do. Gambling, Fishing, drive eleven mile canyon, hiking, horseback riding, ATV, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, wolf tours, Cave of the winds, Manitou Springs, Woodland Park or exploring fossil beds. We are located in a very central location. Royal Gorge is only 50 minutes away! Getting around is quite simple with our direct access to Highway 24. Anywhere you go, you are in for a beautiful drive! This is Colorado, so be prepared for Sun or possibly snow in the same day in the winter months!
