Sparkling Springs Cabin at Kickapoo State Park

At Sparkling Springs Cabin you can enjoy picturesque views, serene waters, and access to an abundance of outdoor activities. Our little slice of heaven is situated privately across the road from Vermilion County's own Mountain Bike destination, the Kickapoo Mountain Bike Trails. Sparkling Springs Cabin is furnished with a fully functioning kitchen equipped with a coffee pot, microwave, electric stove and full size refrigerator. The full back deck overlooking the water is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. Be sure to bring your fishing gear for the summer and the wood burning fire place is sure to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. Hosts live in close proximity to the cabin. Guests will have access to the entire house, along with outdoor patio (upper and lower) and lake. Kayaks, floats, and bikes may be available upon request. Vermilion County has many great attractions and destinations. Just minutes from the Kickapoo Rail Trail and short drives to Big Thorn Brewery in Georgetown and other local finds, you are sure to find something fun for the whole family. Located approximately 31 miles East of Champaign Urbana, about 2.5 hours south of Chicago, and 101 miles West of Indianapolis, IN, Sparkling Spring Cabin is just the right distance from anywhere you would want to go! Seconds away from the Kickapoo Mountain Bike Trails, this cabin is located at the front of Kickapoo State Park. Kayaking, tubing, bike rentals, and hiking are available within walking distance.
