Experience something unique when yurt glamping in a neighboorhood setting. Cozy 16 foot yurt sleeps up to four with a double bed and a pull out couch. Kids and pets welcome! Outdoor hot shower and compost toilet. Close to outdoor activities; mountain biking and skiing at Pajarito ski. Ten minute walk to Bandelier National Monument Shuttle, restaurants & a grocery store. Many hiking trails nearby with ancient petroglyphs and caves. Drive to Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico. The yurt is private. It has a private entrance, fenced yard and patio. Outdoor shower and composting toilet are private. Towels and robes provided. Self check in is fine, or I can be available, send a text. Come in through the private side gate, follow the path to the yurt. The door to the yurt has a key pad, you will get the code to enter after booking. Families, kids, dogs; backyard barbecues abound in the summer in this suburb of Los Alamos. There may be ambient neighborhood sounds filtering into the yurt due to the canvas walls. Fans and a water fountain provided for white noise. Also a small blue tooth speaker. Very safe here, good for hiking and bicycles, walking the dog. Please note: This is glamping! The bathroom is outside in 2 gazebo style privacy screens; one has a composting toilet, hand wash station, the other has a propane heated, on-demand shower with robes, towels, biodegradable soap/shampoo provided. Parking is in front of a residential home on the street. Quiet neighborhood streets, easy walking/cycling distance to Bandelier National Monument shuttle, local library, grocery store, restaurant, food truck, and gas stations/convenience stores. 30 minute drive to Pajarito Ski, or 60 minutes to Santa Fe Plaza, skiing, tourist attractions. 90 minutes to Taos, NM. No Uber or Lyft type transportation, public bus available. Yurts are giant tents with lattice walls covered by canvas. They have a glass dome top to view the sky, which can be opened. they have a wooden door and windows. The shower and composting toilet are outside, about 10 feet away from the yurt door.
