Green Acres Ranch // Upper Lodge

The lodge is surrounded by trees, fields, and towering Montana mountains. Located in the Clark Fork Valley, your lodge is five miles from main street diners and coffee shops. Three bedrooms, a generous kitchen, and gaping front-room windows give your group an environment for solitude and relaxation. If the panoramic views are not enough, experience them for yourself on the various trailheads, walking paths, or a river kayak adventure. NOTE: All livings spaces are disinfected prior to entry. Hostess / Owners live on the 42 acre ranch in a guest house. The Green Acres Estate is situated roughly a quarter of a mile from the next closest, private dwelling. Thompson Falls' locals are helpful and extremely familiar with the local attractions. In fact, nearly every resident is accustomed to questions from out-of-towners (at some point, all of us were considered vacationers too). For Mark and I, that is how we found this Estate. Upon request, a detailed list of eateries, bars, equipment rentals, and local attractions are available. Below is a brief list of local offerings: (1) Walking Paths and Mountain Trails (2) Bicycling and Kayaking (3) River Floats and Local Swimming Holes (4) Fly Fishing and Hunting (5) Locally Owned Diners and Cafes (6) Local Golf Course(s) and Airport(s) Moreover, a short history of Thompson Falls (settled in 1809) is available upon request. Mainstreet is a 10-minute drive, 10-minute bike ride, or 15-minute walk from the lodge. Most importantly, the Grocery Store (Harvest Foods) is a 15-minute drive from the Estate. The liquor store, gas station, pharmacy, hardware store, and others are on Mainstreet (additional store front types are available upon request).
