Sunny Room near Main Street & Close to Beaches

This is a cozy & sunny room perfect for any type of traveler! My guests vary from business travelers to people looking to enjoy a weekend on Long Island. Main Street is around the corner and there you'll find a Starbucks, homemade Ice Cream shop, and quality restaurants. Public tennis courts are around the block. Just a short walk to the LIRR train station that goes to Manhattan, the Fire Island ferry – or out east to the Hamptons & Montauk. We're a short drive to local beaches and marinas! I love antiques, so I hope you will enjoy the decor in my home and especially in the common spaces I welcome you to use. The room has a dresser, desk (strong wifi), closet, sitting area, personal fridge, and a tea/coffee station. Given this is a private room in a shared home I require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Thank you for your understanding as I am looking to keep my family and I safe. My pets are also extremely friendly, so I hope they'll make your visit extra special. Everyone seems to love my cat Oliver. He's a puppy at heart. The upstairs bathroom will be available to guests. Guests are welcome to enjoy the dining room and living room areas. A parking spot is available as well as on-street parking. I'll let you do your own thing, but if you have any questions or need help with anything - let me know! Glad to help :) Aside from everything already mentioned, the hospitals near here are 5 minutes away driving. It has been very convenient for medical students that I’ve hosted. Islip LIRR station and the Bayshore station are very close by; also the Ferry to Fire Island is about a 5 min drive away. Aside from that, Main Street is around the corner where you'll find really cute cafes, restaurants, and shops. For those that may not know what a "single bed" is, it means twin-sized. Airbnb chooses to use the phrase single bed, instead of a twin bed. The pictures clearly represent the space. The bed is quite comfortable! Please understand and read everything thoroughly before reserving. Also if you don't like animals or are allergic to cats and dogs, please don't choose to stay here, they wander the common spaces. By booking you are confirming you understand this. So you should be okay with cats and a small dog. I love them but some people don't understand what a home with pets can be like before booking. I do hope you love them too! They are very friendly and I keep their spaces very clean. :)
