The Falls was built in 1960 and is an architectural masterpiece that features a curved beam roof structure inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, floor to ceiling windows and terraces in every room of the house. This indoor-outdoor living concept, which blends the house perfectly with surrounding nature, was part of the original design intention for the house and continues to be one of the favorite features of all the guests. The interiors feature some of the most iconic, original mid century modern and contemporary art and design pieces. Every element of the house has a story and has been carefully curated to create a truly balanced experience for the eye and for the soul. The house is 15 minutes from the Beacon Train Station with service from NYC via MetroNorth (1:32). It can be reached by car via I-87 or the Taconic Parkway. Ask the host for exact directions or use GPS. The house is only safe for toddlers with continuous direct supervision. Responsibly-aged children should be monitored. Guests assume all responsibility for monitoring children and, given the decks off of every space, for their own safe behavior when on the deck and on the property generally.
