The cottage is located on the main road in the picturesque village of Brigsley at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. A five minute drive away is the village of Waltham which has several convenient stores, a pharmacy, take aways, cafes and two pubs. An ideal location for walking and cycling, there are several nearby footpaths. The cottage is situated on the Wanderlust Way, a popular 20 mile circular route encompassing several pretty villages and can be shortened into smaller sections. There are pleasant walks to the villages of Ashby-cum-Fenby which has a bistro and Barnoldby le Beck which has a pub/restaurant. The seaside town of Cleethorpes is a 6 mile drive away . Slightly further afield there are some lovely market towns to explore including Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. The historic city of Lincoln is approximately a 40 minute drive away and is well worth a visit.
