Welcome to this beautifully furnished 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bath cabin, with a cozy wood stove, a beautiful deck, and access to the Cacapon River! It's located just a short drive from Berkeley Springs, Cacapon State Park, and a variety of hiking, fishing, restaurants, and shopping. Enjoy the local attractions and breweries year round! Whether it's site-seeing or solitude, this unique cabin is a great retreat for your next getaway! The cabin is located ten minutes from the historic downtown Berkeley Springs, making it a convenient home base for exploring all of the area's attractions! At the same time, the pet-friendly cabin's beautiful wooded setting makes it equally well suited for making the most of your time with family and friends. With both a large deck and tons of green space, the cabin offers plenty of opportunities to relax among the refreshing mountain breeze. You will likely spot deer and other wildlife exploring the community. At night, gaze into the beautiful star lit sky and enjoy drinks in the moonlight. The cabin provides a great area for dining, and there is an outdoor grill to prepare great meals! The cabin is stocked with board games and DVDs, in addition to the Roku player and Wifi to enable guests to stream their favorite shows and movies! Please note that the wifi is usable for basic needs (email, apps, basic streaming) but due to the remote location of the cabin, the internet would not be reliable for a remote worker. The dining table can seat 4, and there's room for two more if you pull up some of the extra chairs! Even if you eat most of your meals out - and there are scores of restaurants just minutes away - you'll appreciate the convenience of having a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal 24/7. Whether you're hosting a holiday meal or simply brewing your morning coffee, you'll find all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you'll need. Enjoy using the wood burning stove while cozying up in the living room to play games, watch movies, or sip your morning coffee or hot cocoa! The cabin is also stocked with firewood for guests to use! *Pets allowed, dogs only, 2 max. Guests must keep dogs on leash in the community. Guests have access to the entire cabin privately. Entry and arrival information will be provided after the booking is confirmed. The cabin is located in a private community. The community has a private river access to the Cacapon River for guests! The cabin is in close proximity to everything Berkeley Springs (America's First Resort) and the surrounding area has to offer. The town is known for its warm springs, spas, antiques, and is one of the 10 best small arts towns in the US. In just 7 minutes, you can drive into town to enjoy the great restaurants, shops, attractions, golf, and breweries; in 10 minutes you could be in Great Cacapon, The beautiful Cacapon State Park - with all its wildlife, beautiful trails, and lakes - is just 7 minutes away. The park also offers horseback riding, skeet shooting, lake fishing, paddle boating and many other activities. The cabin is pet friendly! There is a pet fee ($15 per night for 1 dog, $25 per night for 2 dogs) and our county and community does have a leash law. Guests must abide by the area's leash laws. In the winter you may need 4 wheel/AWD if it is snowy conditions. I am unable to cancel or move reservations because of snow, so please be prepared before booking! The roads and driveway are plowed as quickly as possible depending on the weather conditions. Please ask if you have any specific questions! THIS CABIN IS LOCATED IN A PRIVATE COMMUNITY, PLEASE ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING POLICIES. Any complaints or issues reported with any of the following below will result in being charged accordingly. Noise- quiet hours are from sundown until 7:00am. We ask that you are mindful of other cabins and guests especially after dark. Occupancy and use of premises shall not disturb or offend neighbors or residents. Please be mindful of neighboring cabins with noise especially after dark. Loud parties, excessive speeding, excessive noise and/or disruptive behavior, discharging of Firearms, BB, Pellet or Paintball Guns. Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the grounds and in the event of fireworks being used in the community, you will be required to vacate the property without a refund and will be fined accordingly. Outdoor Firepits- If the property rented does not have a proper fire-pit, outdoor fire is not permitted. Open fires will result in a min of $500 fine Vehicles- absolutely no ATV’s are to be ridden in the community, RV’s/campers are not to be parked in the driveways and no more than 4 vehicles are permitted in the driveways (overflowed parking is available, please contact in advance for information) Trash- Guests will bag and properly dispose of all of their trash including recycling items. All trash/recycling items must be bagged in appropriate (13 gallon bags or larger) trash bags and placed in proper outdoor locations prior to departure. No small bags, pet bags, or grocery bags are to be left in trash bin. The trash bin is located at the end of the driveway.
