GÎTE 63A.

Gîte 63A is a small brick barn at the side of our 400 yr old Gd 2 listed home and shop, ‘The Dinky Bridal Boutique’. We’ve lovingly restored these properties over the past 8 yrs converting our barn to a cosy, self contained accommodation. Furnished with all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable & stress free. Perfectly located in the centre of Whitchurch with its independent shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs & takeaways. Surrounded by beautiful countyside, ideal for walkers, cyclists & Foodies At the front of the property is our Bridal shop, ‘The Dinky Bridal Boutique’ our home is behind the shop with the Gîet on the left, adjacent to our kitchen/conservatory and garden. The Gîte is divided into 3 small rooms, the first is the living/sleeping area. The second is the kitchenette and the third is the Toilet/shower room. Each room is well equipped with amenities provided. There is internet access and a TV with Netflix, Apple & Freeview. A mini wardrobe, vanity space with shelves, also the bed lifts up providing extra storage room underneath as well. Guests have an outside seating area but are very welcome to chill out in our small walled garden. It offers a quiet space to relax with lots a seating, but please be aware due to its quirky layout it’s a bit uneven and access is up 3 steep steps with a handrail. The garden is shared with us and our very friendly, slightly deaf older dog Gregory, but once he has said hello and checked you over for doggie treats, he will leave you alone. We have put a small gate up so Greg doesn’t visit you unexpectedly, please feel free to open it at any time for access to the garden. Please contact us if you need anything else 😊 At the left side of our shop window is a door that is accessed by a 4 digit code. A small covered walkway leads to the Gîte on the left, our home is on the right. There’s a key safe on the wall next to the Gîte door. This entrance allows guests to come and go at their leisure. Parking is situated just around the corner in Brownlow Street car park. This is a council run car park so you must buy a ticket. The cost is £2.40 per day from 8am to 6pm. It’s free after 6pm, Sundays and bank holidays. It also has 6 Electric car charging points. We live in close proximity to the Gîte, but we are private people who are happy to be on hand if needed, otherwise you will not be disturbed. NB Strictly no smoking. Please do not smoke or vape in the Gîte or garden. Guests must be dog lovers as we have a very friendly, slightly deaf, older dog called Gregory. He loves people but not so much other doggies. Once he has said hello, gotten a tickle or two and checked you over for dog treats, he will leave you alone. We have put a small gate up between the Gîte and our back door, so he doesn’t visit you unexpectedly, but he may give the odd bark when he sees you. If you need anything to make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable, please just ask. We are located at the top of town, it’s super convenient for the local shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and takeaways all within easy walking distance. It’s a quiet and safe neighbourhood with minimal traffic. Whitchurch is the northernmost market town in Shropshire sitting on the borders of south Cheshire and Wales. The town is 20 miles from Shrewsbury, Chester and Wrexham and can be reached by ‘A’ roads, train and canal. Whitchurch is well served by Train, Bus and Road. The Bus terminal is 5 mins walk and the Train Station is a 10 minute walk away Within a 20 mile radius there are plenty of historic houses, beautiful gardens and wildlife sites to visit.
