All high touch areas, including knobs, handles and light switches are disinfected. All bedding including quilts is washed between every guest. Clean fresh towels are provided for every guest. The Winemakers House is a former home to a local winemaker, Grape King, winery owner and his wife. All the comforts of home are provided in a spacious home with eclectic decor and lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Close to trails in a quiet village. Bedrooms Each of the beds has a high quality mattress and a down alternative mattress topper for extra comfort. The beds have high end pure European linen sheets and extra blankets and quilts. There are many pillows to choose from to suit everyone’s needs...feather, down alternative and cool gel memory foam. Extras are in the hallway linen closet. Kitchen A collection of handmade pottery mugs, bowls, serving dishes, serving bowls and platters are available. Everything you need to enjoy the local beverages - wine and champagne glasses, decanter, drink ware and openers. Chef’s knives, quality cookware, gas range and stainless steel appliances, plates, mixing bowls, bakeware and utensils. I love to cook, so I have tried to equip the space with everything I could think of. There is a drip coffee maker, burr bean grinder and French press. Coffee beans, a variety of teas, milk and cream are provided. There is also a kettle, toaster and blender. Guests have access to the whole house except the basement, attic and garage. There are three driveway parking spaces and a shed in the backyard to store your bikes while you are here. I live 5 minutes away and I am available for any questions or recommendations for your stay. Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in the historic village of Queenston, which is right on the edge of the Niagara River, at the base of the Escarpment and the entrance to the Bruce Trail and right on the Niagara River Parkway biking trail. Close to wineries, outlet shopping and restaurants. The house is located a scenic 10 minute drive to Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake and 15 minutes to Niagara Falls. Waterfront access with a boat launch is at the end of our street. You can also take a thrilling ride on the Whirlpool Jet Boats. Three off street parking spaces are provided and the house is located right off the Niagara River Parkway for easy, scenic biking or driving to both Old Town NOTL and Niagara Falls. Plenty of bike rentals are available near by or bring your own bikes. There is a shed in the backyard for you to store them during your stay. The house is over 100 years old and has its own charming character - the ceilings in the bedrooms are all low and sloped, so please watch your head! The back door to the patio needs a good pull to make sure it has closed. For longer stays, supplies are provided to get you started, but you will have to restock consumables like toilet paper and coffee for yourself.
