Oso Verde Ranch, a Natural Paradise

The beautiful Oso Verde Ranch, a natural oasis, is located close to Mesa Verde. This eco-friendly gem sits on 40 acres, just a mile from Downtown Mancos, on the Mancos River, with a little 3 hole chipping range golf course and a beautiful pond. Geese, ducks, blue herons, song birds, turkeys, hawks, eagles, elk, deer, fox and other wildlife can be seen here. This house is eco-friendly and solar powered, nestled on the Mancos River. The grounds are a wildlife habitat. You have access to a a stunning outdoor patio with a grill. The house sits on the Mancos River, and there is a natural pond next to house, perfect for swimming. No fishing without permission is allowed. Downtown Mancos is just a hop, skip and a jump away. There is a Brewery, an Artisan’s Coop, a couple of fantastic restaurants and a wonderful health food store. The Mesa Verde Visitor’s Center is about 10 minutes away. There is also close proximity to world class biking at Phil’s World in Cortez. Telluride is an hour and a half away, with world-class skiing. We do not live on site, so we may or may not meet you. We love this wonderful community of Mancos, filled with artists, musicians, cowboys, ranchers and everyday people. The Southwest is a true treasure! There is no public transit, however downtown in just a couple minutes away by car. There is also a hip garage-style studio apartment on the property, perfect for two.
