Humphrey Cottage - rural retreat with pool

Humphrey Cottage is the perfect retreat to relax, reset and enjoy while exploring the Albany area. Perfectly located on the road to the Gap, Natural Bridge, Blowholes, Frenchman Bay and superb swimming and fishing beaches and only a short drive to the city center. The house is very well appointed - quality bedding and linen, fully functional kitchen and spacious amenities. All rooms are large, light and boast views of the surrounding bush, and landscape including grazing kangaroos. We are based in a secluded rural area on the city's doorstep. Kangaroos graze in our front paddock, and the abundant birdlife is magnificent. The neighbours are all friendly and considerate. From the house you can't see any of our neighbours making the cottage a private and secluded location. The house is visible from the no-through gravel road, however it is located about 200m away from the road so privacy is maintained. You will need a car when staying at Humphrey cottage as there is no public transport available. It is located on a major tourist route with the Gap, Natural Bridge, Blowholes, Frenchman Bay and Whaling Station only a 10-15 minute drive away. Our property is only 500m away from the Torndirrup National Park (which can be accessed on foot at the end of the Road) and there are numerous amazing walking trails in the National Park which will give you views out over the harbour, city and out to the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges. There is also a fantastic 30 minute walk up to the back to a place called Family Rock which looks out over the Southern Ocean. The beaches which are nearby include Whalers Cove, Goode Beach and Frenchman Bay - all have that beautiful white squeaky sand that the area is famous for, and you can usually enjoy these magnificent beaches with hardly another soul in sight!
