There are three bedrooms with one queen and two full size beds, one of which is a sleep number bed. The rooms are individually decorated with an eclectic mix of old and new. There are two full baths, a separate dining room and full kitchen. The family room has a unique built-in seating area and can be closed off from the living room and sunroom for additional privacy. Two roll out single beds are available to make an additional bedroom. The sunroom is perfect for a morning cup of coffee or to relax with a book, while the living room fireplace is a wonderful way to warm up on cool nights. The living room also has a pull out couch with a full size bed. There is plenty of parking and a private yard. The city of Beacon is just a few minutes away and has many restaurants, bars and art galleries and the famous DIA art museum. Metro North Railroad is also conveniently located with access to New York City. The historic Hudson Valley has a great deal to offer and this home is right in the center of it all. The Walkway Over the Hudson, the Culinary Institute of America, Vanderbilt Mansion, Franklin Roosevelt's Historic Home, West Point, Dutchess Stadium are all under an hour away. Several major colleges are nearby, including Vassar, Marist and Bard. Guests will have access to the whole house. One hall closet is private and used for storage and locked. Owner is not on site but is available at any time. Located in the Hamlet of Glenham, the home is located across the street from a historical home built in 1757. The town of Fishkill is well known for its part in the Revolutionary War, including an encampment and the first site for West Point. The city of Beacon is known for its art scene and beautiful Mount Beacon. Close to Metro North and Amtrak. Taxi service is available and Enterprise Car Rental is located right down the street. Stewart International Airport is less than 30 minutes away.
