Charming rustic cottage vegetarian friendly
Set in a quiet neighbourhood 5km from the city centre and a short walk to the Torrens River linear park. A shopping precinct is within walking distance. This quaint charming 1920s maisonette cottage has both shared and private garden space. The cottage is one of two attached maisonettes (divided by a double brick wall). Each is complete and self contained. Hosts David and Gillian live in the adjacent maisonette. There is a shared large and rambling garden at the back for guests to enjoy, as well as a private courtyard space. The front garden is shared. The BnB home is comfortable and homey and relatively spacious with skylights and lovely green views through all windows. The entire maisonette is for guests and is independent of its adjacent twin. Walkerville is a highly desirable suburb. It has quiet streets lined with trees and is located close to the centre of Adelaide. There is easy access to Adelaide city's East End lifestyle and cultural precinct. Several convenient bus routes to the city centre or pleasant bike-ride along the linear park track or though back streets. Plenty of free parking space in the wide quiet street. For longer stays and in order to access the washing machine, the hosts will occasionally need to enter the BnB but will naturally respect guests' privacy. In order to keep this a friendly place for vegetarians to stay we ask that no meat or fish be cooked on the premises.
