Enjoy a classic Maine cabin with modern amenities, all to yourself yet minutes to Sugarloaf Mountain for year round recreation. Private but accessible to route 27. This beautiful home is set back in the woods where you can enjoy the outside fire pit. Watch the Carabasset River from the large back deck, or relax in the hammock. Rest assure we are following all cleaning guidelines to keep our guests safe, including the house being vacant for a minimum of 3 days prior to each stay. If you've stayed with us before, we think you'll be pleased with some upgrades we've made. This home boasts 3 bedrooms plus an open loft area for up to 8 guests. All bed linens are included. The Carabasset River is just a stones throw from the backyard. There is a road between the house and river, however it is a dead end and we are the only house on that end. The house is truly peaceful inside and out. Inside you can enjoy cable and WiFi, including two Smart TV's, one in the living room and another in the master bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs - with Keurig (no multi cup coffee maker), tea, baking, tableware, and cookware. If you prefer to cook outside, we have you covered! On the back deck, right outside the dining room, is a full size grill AND Blackstone griddle, you can feed an army with these. The spacious bathroom is stocked with towels and a walk in shower, please note there is no bathtub. With the new water heater, you can enjoy a nice hot relaxing shower. Even though we do not have a washer and dryer, there is a laundry mat about a mile down the road if needed. In the winter bring your snowmobile and hit the trails near by or enjoy skiing at Sugarloaf mountain which is less than 20 minutes away. In the warmer months, there are trails near by for the ATV lover. You will have access to entire house and all outside space. Property manager located just minutes away for any emergency situations. Enjoy direct access trails for recreational vehicles right in town. You will be one mile to beautiful downtown Kingfield. Which includes many restaurants, shopping, gas, laundromat, and antique shops. You will also find a quaint general stores and fine dining. Not only does downtown Kingsfield cater to the ski and outdoor crowd, they have locations that specialize in craft beer, but also new galleries are popping up if you are into the artsy side of life. Along with a Dollar General for anything you may have forgot at home. Hiking trails accessible minutes from the house, including the Appalachian Trail. Ira mountain, Amphitheater, and Outlook are just miles from the house. Ira Mountain is a great hike in the winter and an easy drive to the top in the summer.
