NOTE: Only vaccinated people please. My place is close to Sugarloaf Mountain, a winery, outlet mall, C&O Canal, biking, hiking, kayaking, 40 miles from Washington, DC. You’ll love my place because I have a very peaceful setting with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Cozy accommodations. Visit the sheep and chickens and my wonderful yellow lab, Trapper. FIELD ROOM: Spend the night on this charming small farm. Beautiful view of the sheep field and Sugarloaf Mountain. One full bed. Full bath near room. The Field Room is a bit bigger than the Garden Room if your'e wanting more room. Visit the sheep and chickens. Price is for one room only, 1-2 people in room. I do have another listing (Garden Room) if you have additional people that would like to book (separate listing on Airbnb). Additional people (kids) $10 each. I also have an air mattress for an additional charge of $10 that can be put in the room. Please inquire about a dog staying. No cats please. There is a yarn shop on the property stocked with my own line of hand dyed yarn, my felt landscapes and artisan shawls. Blankets made from the wool of my sheep are also available. Seasonal fresh eggs from my chickens are $4 a dozen. NOTE: If bringing a dog, dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. If you leave during the day or evening, the dog must accompany you unless arrangements are made with owner. A $15 additional fee will be due upon check in. No visitors during your stay. NO CATS! Patio with great views, C&O Canal, Potomac River, Sugarloaf Mountain. Lounging near small pond. Shop in my studio for hand dyed yarns, jewelry, art and wearables. I'm here for whatever you may need. I give you space when you want but will recommend fun things to see and do in the area. My home is located in the Agricultural Reserve in Maryland, a land use and open space area with beautiful views of fields and farms. It's very peaceful and quiet. I'm only 2 miles from Sugarloaf Mountain which has great hiking trails. Kayaking can be done on the Monocacy or Potomac Rivers or at Seneca Lake, all within 5 miles. Since I am only 4 miles from the C&O Canal, I offer a bike shuttle from and to the Canal for $10 each way. I also offer dinner ($18) and breakfast ($10) for an additional fee. But you must let me know at least 2 days ahead of time if you would like a shuttle or meals as I have to plan ahead. A winery is just 3 miles away. The charming historic city of Frederick is 20 minutes away offering nice restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, a distillery, boutiques and antique shops. The Marc train is located just 1/4 mile from me and is available during the weekdays for getting into Washington, DC. Last train leaves here around 8 a.m. Take a weekend getaway to the countryside! Idea. . .hop on your bike in Georgetown at the beginning of the C&O Canal. Bike 42 miles to the Mouth of Monocacy Bridge. I will pick you up along with your bike, transport you 3 miles to my home/farm, feed you dinner & breakfast (additional fees) then take you back to the C&O where you can leisurely bike back to Georgetown or continue on up the trail. Fun!!!!
