Beautiful 3 bedroom home with public access to White Lake (White Lake connects to Lake Michigan). Near the Hart/Montague bike trail (walking distance), close to Michigan's Adventure and to public beaches on Lake Michigan.Plenty of sleeping space (4 beds, 4 couches), large backyard with a fire pit that backs up to Gee Park, a small public park. Quaint, quiet neighborhood; it's all here! Lovely fireplace, claw foot bathtub, 3 season room and a full kitchen. Our nest is the best! Our place is warm and cozy. It was built in 1903. It has many quirks and loads of charm! It's a big 'ol house filled with love. It's relaxing and homey, pretty and comfortable. Guest can use the bedrooms as needed. We have one with a king, one with a queen, one with a queen, a single loft and a pull out futon. The upstairs has 2 "wings" as we like to call them. There is also a sitting area upstairs with 2 couches. The king room is adjacent to the queen/loft/futon room and would be a great set up for parents to be close to kids. The other side has the queen room and sitting room with 2 couches. Both bathrooms are always open, as are the common living spaces. Laundry is available by request only. There is parking for 3-4 cars in our driveway. Please do not park in the street. Please do not park in or use our private garage. We have a large backyard, partially fenced in. We have a deck, hammock stands and a fire pit. The play equipmentin the backyard is use at your own risk. Adult supervision is required as it is old and worn. We will be available by phone & text. Ride on the Hart/Montague bike trail, walk down to White Lake, walk or bike to town with ice cream shops, small town stores,Wesco, Subway, and a few local restaurants. We also have a charming theater in town, The White Lake playhouse. Two parks accessible on the bike trail, including Goodrich Park (a hometown gem!) also a beautiful public library on the bike trail, public boat launch nearby. We are 15 minutes from Muskegon, and about 25 minutes from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. For winter travelers, we are 10 miles from Muskegon Luge (formerly known as: The Muskegon Winter Sports Complex.) There are also many snowmobile trails in the area. Whitehall, MI is lakeside living at it's best! You can walk/bike right into town from our place via the Hart/Montague bike trail. Guests can walk down a public access path, across the street and down the steps to White Lake. This path is pictured in the listing. There is a walking trail along the water. There is not a private beach or private dock space for this property. 1. We have a Bunn Velocity Brew coffee maker. A full pot brews in 3 minutes! Bunns work a little different than regular coffee makers. Instructions will be adjacent to the coffee maker. 2. Extra towels are available in the closet next to the main floor bathroom. Please use only as needed and keep the towel storage area tidy for the next guest. 3. Extra blankets and pillows are on the storage shelves next to the king bedroom. Please use only as needed and keep storage area tidy for the next guest. 4. Our maximum overnight guest count is 12. There is an additional $25 charge per person for each guest after the 6th. 5. This home is dog-friendly. The dog fee is $25 per dog, per night 6. The garage and bedroom closets are not open to guests. They are market private and locked, as we use those areas to store our personal belongings.
