This is a quiet private self-contained apartment with a king bed, living room, and full kitchen. Plus a new2020 heated inground pool and hot tub! Located in picturesque historic small NH town with access to skiing, hiking trails, lakes, and rivers for lots of water sports, summer playhouse theater & Fall foliage steps away. There are views of nearby Mt. Monadnock. This unit is completely private with its own entrance. Guests may come & go as they wish. The full kitchen has the basic appliances, pots & pans, serving dishes, and flatware—a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. The wood-burning fireplace has logs available. Shared with the owners are a large Weber gas grill and outdoor fire pit. Just 15 feet from the back door is a new in-ground pool and hot tub. Ample parking and snow removal. There is a 100ft walk to the apartment from the parking area. There are two steps onto the deck of the apartment. Hancock is 30 minutes from Keene & 1 hour from Manchester, Nashua, and Concord, NH. Guest have complete private use of the apartment, and there are shared amenities just outside the front door of the unit. Plenty of space to leave your kayaks, bikes and other equipment when there not in use. We will greet you on arrival to ensure you are familiar with the property and available to answer any questions that may arise. There is an information book to help provide detailed additional information on the apartment and things to do while visiting. Hancock, NH still enjoys a real covered bridge. The entire village, just down the hill is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The NH's oldest operating Inn, a cafe and village store are "downtown". The apartment is located in rural setting across the road from an apple orchard. quiet, private and hassle free. Driving is required as public transportation is not an option. Biking and walking to the village is an great option. There are many well marked hiking trails nearby; the Harris Conservation Center maintains many trails in town and we're close Crotched Mt. ski area, the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway as well as dozens of other beautiful hiking trails in the region. During the summer the Town of Hancock has weekly free concerts at the Gazebo. The town beach is located at Norway Pond, for swimming in the summer or skating in the winter.
