Tavistock is an energetic town well known for its various markets including weekly markets of craft, antiques and collectables and Fridays traditional charter market with organic and farmers produce. In October it also hosts the annual Goosey Fair and in September hosts the Westcountry Balloon Festival.Charming market town situated on the River Tavy. Highlights include riverside walks, Drakes’ Walk, Viaduct Walk and beautiful meadows.
