Smart T.V. No pets. NO smoking in/on property. Confirmation of reservation conveys acceptance of rules. This is a family home. We will be around the house, while giving you plenty of privacy. While we don't share the kitchen, you will have your own mini kitchen, small fridge and access to the microwave and coffee in your suite. Access is through the carport, across the deck and down 10 steps to the back of the house to a private entrance with a push button coded lock. Fredericksburg is a fun place to visit and offers a wide variety of things to do. With its location just an hour south of Washington DC, the charming Virginia town has an important place in American history. It was the childhood home to George Washington, a major port during the colonial era and the site of major battles during the Civil War. The historic district, set along the Rappahannock River, contains 350 original 18th and 19th century buildings and is home to many living history museums, restaurants, shops, and art galleries. We are very close to Rt 1, Rt17 and I95. Leland Station VRE is less than 2 miles away. Fredericksburg Amtrak is less than 5 miles. A car is best to get around. Uber is also available in the area. CHECK-IN time is after 4:00 PM ET and CHECK-OUT time is by 10 AM ET. NO SMOKING –Smoking of any kind is not permitted in our home. If you must smoke it must be done outside and you must clean up any butts. PETS – Pets are not permitted in our home and/or on the premises at any time unless prior approval has been granted. Pets are NEVER allowed on any furniture. Pets must be crated if left alone in the suite. FOOD AND COMMON AREAS. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves and store personal items in their rooms. Guests are encouraged to store food and beverages in the provided room refrigerator. QUIET HOURS. Observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7AM (unless otherwise arranged). Try to keep it down a bit so that those in the house that need to get up early for work can sleep. EVENTS/VISITORS. Guests must obtain prior permission before inviting any visitors (not included as guests on their reservation) and before holding any events at the house. You must also acknowledge Pet(s) live on property - We have 2 Goldens - gentle and friendly Must climb stairs Surveillance or recording devices on property - We have outdoor cameras that help protect the property etc. This is an EXTREMELY quiet and private neighborhood. Please be respectful of that.
