Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile. Just a short drive from Coniston, Hawkshead, Ambleside, Grasmere, Windermere, Bowness, Tarn Hows and the Grizedale Forest. It nestles at the end of a private very narrow lane on the edge of the old village, surrounded by woodland. On the doorstep is the Duddon Valley to the west of Coniston, arguably one of the ’undiscovered hidden gems’ of the Lake District National Park. There are great family walks from the door in many directions including those taking in the wonderful fells, waterfalls, crags & streams.
