Wooden hut on private Island with lake access
The so-called Paprikainsel is a private peninsula at Lake Faak in Carinthia. Here you are away and completely undisturbed from the usual tourism with an exclusive location. A booking includes its own hut (incl. toilet hut), access to the private bathing jetty, and a rowing boat for exclusive use and is, therefore, suitable for vacationers and fishermen alike. Through environmentally friendly access, the wooden hut is equipped with solar power & an odorless humus toilet. The peninsula is located in Faak am See in Carinthia in Austria and offers a private and unique traveling and vacation experience at Lake Faak. It is mostly covered by a forest. The hut is about 16 sqm. and consists of one room. It includes two single beds (movable to have a double bed), an eating area (incl. table, bench, and chairs), and a fridge. Everything is powered by solar power. The toilette is located in a separate hut and is based on a smell-free humus system that doesn't require any water. The hut does NOT have a shower and running water. The private jetty is about 16sq.m., is located about 100m from the hut, and will only be used by yourself. It offers a 360-degree panorama on Tabor, Mittagskogel, and Gerlitzen. From the jetty, you will have the chance to make use of the private rowing boat which is available for your personal use. For the jetty, you will be provided with a sunshade as well as a sun-lounger. The parking spot is located about 500m from the hut. If you require help with your luggage, we'll support you with the transportation to the hut. During your stay, you can use a bike to quickly reach the parking spot. You will also be able to use the outdoor furniture at your convenience which includes a table, chairs, and benches. If you bring your own tent, two more people can stay overnight.
