Lakefront Cottage - Gilletts Lake - 2 min off I-94

A 2.5* bedroom, 2 bath, two-story home on all-sports Gilletts Lake in Jackson, MI two minutes off of I-94. The entire home has been remodeled and features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. The open floor plan provides beautiful views of the lake - sometimes you may feel that you are ON a boat! Bring your boat or enjoy the kayaks and paddleboards to explore this peaceful lake. There is a nice sandbar a short paddle from the house. *“Half” bedroom is a loft bed on second floor. We have tried to provide everything we could think of that you might need to enjoy some quality time in our cottage and on the lake. We are always making improvements and adding items that will improve our guest's stay. Guests will have access to the entire cottage (basement, first floor, second floor) minus a few small closets. The lakefront has a seawall and an aluminum dock (new in 2019) that are available for guest use. This is our family cottage that we share with Airbnb guests. We have family members with pet allergies and therefore we cannot accommodate pets in our home. In an effort to keep our rates lower, the base rate for our cottage covers the rental for two guests. There is a $10 nightly charge for each additional guest. We do this to keep the rate lower for smaller groups. More guests mean more wear and tear and more work for the cleaning staff. The majority of the additional fees are shared with our cleaning staff. We have awesome neighbors! Treat them well. Our driveway will accommodate two (2) vehicles. Three (3) may fit if they are small. The cottage is equipped with the following: plates, silverware, glasses, mugs, pots, pans, blender, toaster, hand mixer, waffle maker, panini maker, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, grill, life jackets (several sizes), kayaks (one single and one tandem), stand up paddleboards (SUPs) (2), large float (dense foam approx. 4 ft.x 4 ft.), large float (dense foam approx. 6 ft. x 6 ft.), towels, beach towels, bedding, yard games (Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, the Washer Game), lawn chairs (8), lounge chairs (2), board games, playing cards (2 decks), Blu-ray DVD player, 43" TV, ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room. Also know that we are not a party location so please commit to being quiet and respectful of your neighbors during your stay with us.
