The Burgundy room can be used for a Family with small children, for this purpose we have a child's fold out bed and use of a travel cot which this room can accommodate both, a safety gate is provided for your use at the bathroom door way, (the bath room has 2 steps down to the bathroom), safety plug covers, use of a highchair if needed, en-suite has shower over the bath, bath towels, complimentary toiletries, use of dressing gown & slippers, hairdryer, hospitality tray with bottled water and biscuits, bottled juice for children, remote controlled fan, and a wide screen TV with free view. The Sycamore Tree is located on the main road through longtown. longtown memorial center has a gym, the river Esk is a two minute walk away, ideal for fishing or a leisurely walk of an evening.We are 4 miles from gretna green and 6 miles from city of Carlisle with its castle, cathedral and shopping center. there is also the sands center that has various show, depending on the time of year.
