Our comfortable and private 2 bedroom apartment/ suite is located high above the beautiful Baca valley with spectacular views over the Triglav national park. Finished to a high standard it's a perfect space to enjoy Slovenia's beautiful fauna & flora, ideal for relaxation and exploration. Enjoy fly fishing, swimming, paddle-boarding, walking, birds & butterflies, cycling, flower observers & a star gazers delight. Our small rural farming hamlet is a great base for your holiday in Slovenia. A spacious 2 bedroom suite with a large modern walk in shower room. The King sized double room and living area have spectacular mountain views looking across to Mount Kobala and a beautiful ancient hilltop Lime Tree which looks over the house. The beds are very comfortable and the space is designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. A single bed is also setup in the king room along with comfy lounge seating and a dining table. A small hallway leads to the second Bedroom which is light and airy with 2 comfortable twin beds. The apartment has a small kitchenette area and is furnished throughout to a very high standard with the benefit of a low noise A/C and heat pump. Kettle, convection microwave & refrigerator provided. The suite is accessed by exterior private staircase and private parking is on site. For those who are environmentally conscious our hot water is generated by solar energy and recycling is prioritised at our place. Private entrance reached via outdoor staircase. Free parking spaces. The back garden is open for you to enjoy and on a nice day you can see the paragliders jumping from Kobala across the valley. We are always happy to help you organise your days. We have fly fishing and outdoor pursuit information. Nearby trails and walks, places of interest to see and visit and recommendations for eating out. Located in a small hamlet up quite a steep hill our locale is rural and beautiful - you will need a car to access our place unless you travel to Podmelec by train (which is a 10 minute drive). It's 10 mins in the car from several local bars/ cafes and a local supermarket at Most na Soci. There is a Bank, post office, grocer, bakery, rail station and petrol station as well as a beautiful Lake at Most na Soci too. Tolmin is 20 minutes drive away and hosts Supermarkets (Hofer, Mercator, and Eurospin) and some excellent eateries and a museum. Car (recommended): You will need a car to access the accommodation, however we are able to organise taxis or rental car and there are bus services in Most na Soci. Car Train: There is also a car train at Most na Soci Station that runs to Bohinjska bistrica (45 min ride) and from there a short drive to Lake Bled or Lake Bohinj. The car train is an exciting way to travel and to see some of the beautiful landscape. Train: There is also transport by train to Ljubljana and Italy located at Podmelec station which is about a 5 to 7 minute drive. Non Smoking please. Please ask about pets and welcome packs.
