Buttermilk Barn - an idyllic rural escape!

Getaway together and relax in our unique cottage situated amidst beautiful Suffolk countryside. Buttermilk Barn is open plan and tastefully furnished with rustic country features throughout. The sitting room has a sofa and chairs with snugly throws and a stove for chilly evenings. The bedroom has one king size bed and en suite walk in shower room. Close to the historic market town of Framlingham and within half an hour of the popular coastal towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich. Enjoy the sunrise from your private patio, bathed in sunshine for breakfast. A picnic bench sits in your own garden space. At the end of the day, fill your glass and gaze at the night sky full of stars. There are many interesting and beautiful walks on your doorstep. It is a popular location with cyclists. (We can provide a covered location for your bicycles). Off-road parking outside the property. Buttermilk Barn is a separate property from our Cottage. You will have plenty of parking and easy access to your own front door. Use of the front garden and patio outside Buttermilk Barn. We live adjacent to Buttermilk Barn and look forward to greeting you when you arrive. We will be contactable throughout your stay should you have any questions. There is a key lock box for late arrivals. We have a farm shop just 10 minutes walk from us. And 2 miles away in the next village of Laxfield you will find a Co Op with Post Office. Many nearby villages have country pubs that serve excellent meals, a wide range of wines and local ales. Framlingham has a number of restaurants to suit most tastes, some with takeaways. Greater detail can be found in the folder provided. A car is necessary to reach us and to make the most of your stay in the wider location. The area is perfect for cycling and has many local footpaths to explore. We have placed a folder with lots of useful information for use during your stay.
