A light, modern stable conversion set in the traditional picturesque village of Thornton Le Moor, and perfectly located to explore the idyllic North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Recently renovated and backing onto unspoilt rural views, the stables are accessed by a private drive and offer exceptional privacy. Contemporary modern comforts set in charming countryside provide the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing break. Guests will have use of the whole stables which offer a homely and comfortable environment. The south-facing, double height living space is open-planC and filled with natural light year round, and extends onto a large private patio - perfect for long summer evenings or cosy winter nights in front of the fire. The stables are warmed throughout with underfloor heating, and have a fully equipped modern kitchen. The large bedroom has a king size bed fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets and is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. There is also a separate bathroom with a freestanding bath. Guests have access to private off road parking space to the front of the stables. The hosts live in the main house separate from the stables and will be available should anything be required. There are lovely walks around the village and cosy pubs in the neighbouring villages of Thornton Le Beans and South Otterington. In summer months guests can hear the sound of willow upon leather in the nearby village cricket field. The stables are a short drive from Thirsk, Northallerton and Helmsley and provide the perfect gateway to explore the nearby North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. The beautiful Yorkshire coast is 35 minutes away, with a choice of Saltburn, the quaint fishing village of Staithes and Whitby all within driving distance. If you are reaching us by public transport, Northallerton train station is an 8 minute drive away and located on the East Coast main line, with regular direct trains to London, Edinburgh, Newcastle and York, as well as Manchester and Liverpool. The hosts will be there to greet guests upon arrival.
