Fabulous Views of South Downs
Great views of Devils Dyke area. Amazing South Downs walks as we are situated inside the National Park and only 5 miles from Brighton. The village pub across the road has a beer garden and restaurant. A 15 minute walk to award winning local garden centre, deli and cafe (Rushfields). On the Bus route into Brighton, a car is recommended but not essential. The resident cat would appreciate feeding during your stay. A large kitchen diner opens out onto marvellous views, ideal for day dreaming or inspiring you to get out and enjoy the countryside. The living room and Tv room are to the front of the house. There are 3 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The bedroom facing the Downs has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a very comfortable pull out bed, which can be made up as a single or kingsize. The third bedroom is a child’s room with a cot. Whilst we are on our own holiday you will have access to the whole house including the garden. We will be away and you can contact us with questions. We have very good friends/neighbours who will be on hand if needed. A rural retreat where you can feel as though you are at the top of the world (well almost), within a 15 minute walk up various routes to the top of Devils Dyke, part of the South Downs Way. Nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk along a rural road (no pavement for some of it). The bus is regular and it can be used to get into central Brighton. Car parking is on the street. You need to park up on the narrow pavement (as you’ll see neighbours doing) as tractors come past. Alternatively park further along the road where it is wider. We have a resident cat who comes as part of the house and by agreeing to stay here you will be responsibile for feeding him. In return if you'd like he will gladly sit on your lap. We have a dog but she will be away having her own holiday. We have BT freeview TV, including I player, Net Flix etc. We have a DVD player.
