The Nelson and Railway hotel hosts a friendly and welcoming ambience with 11 homely en-suite rooms. The Nelson is a family run pub/hotel and has been for 41 years, ensuring brilliant customer-staff relationships.The 400 year old building, adds to the lovely "oldy worldy" atmosphere you'll quickly begin to love. Guests have up to 25 Free parking spaces available and free Wi-fi for all. The city centre is obtainable to all guests via the reliable buses directly opposite our hotel, approx 5 miles. Our twin rooms are facilitated with two comfortable single beds, complete with crisp white linen. Freeview, Wi-fi internet and tea and coffee making facilities are provided free of charge. Most rooms have a working desk and computer chair. All rooms are equipped with a new shower, some also a bath, in our lovely modern bathrooms. The nelson and railway is located in a small rural town complete with a supermarket, approximatley 5 miles from Nottingham city centre. The small town is familiar and friendly with other welcoming pubs and restaurants near by. The old railway station is close by, showing the Nelson's history. There are also numerous nature trails for enjoyable walks in range.
