An elegant and comfy second floor room with large queen bed, beautiful wood floors, vaulted ceilings, arched windows, and shared access to the nearby full bath. Enjoy the comfort of relaxing in our warm and inviting, bright, spacious home. This extra large second floor bedroom has one queen bed, large closet, vaulted ceilings, and beautiful arched windows looking out onto our quiet neighborhood. A desk with office chair provides a separate space for working or studying. A full bath with tub is around the corner and is shared with any guests who book the other second floor room listed for rent in our home. Downstairs is the open living and dining room. Enjoy a coffee or tea any time of day with our Keurig brewing system! Our home is on a peaceful cul-de-sac with beautiful trees and many singing birds. We have 24/7 outside security cameras. Guests will have shared access to the full bath on the second floor and are also welcome to share the first floor family dining room, living room, and kitchen. We have cable television and a large flat screen with Netflix streaming in the living room. Guests have access to high speed WiFi anywhere in the house and are also welcome to enjoy the large backyard and swing in our relaxing hammock. Guests are allowed to smoke in the backyard if needed. For guests staying at weekly and monthly rates, weekend breakfast is not included. We are familiar with many area attractions and are willing to offer recommendations and assistance to our guests. We also are happy to help you plan great day trips to NYC! Museums, Broadway theaters, Parks, and Shopping! We enjoy getting to know our guests, and we also respect your privacy. Guests can feel free to join us for a glass of wine, a Netflix movie, a great conversation around the dinner table, or simply enjoy the quiet of their private rooms. There are lots of great places nearby! We are only 15 minutes from Jones Beach and Long Beach. Minutes to Molloy College, Adelphi University, and Hofstra University. Easy commute to area hospitals including South Nassau Communities, Mercy Medical, and North Shore-LIJ. Great selection of dining. We recommend GM Burger Bar, Benny B's Barbecue, and Bigelow's New England Fried Clams! Beautiful Baldwin Harbor Park has baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and trails for running. Walk to movie theaters, restaurants, pharmacies, parks, and the Long Island Rail Road. Drive to anywhere on Long Island. Only a 40 minute train ride into Manhattan or Brooklyn! Quick trip to all New York airports. Only 15 minutes to JFK! Our home is well-equipped to host families or groups in the area for special occasions! We have two other rooms available to rent in our home, and guests may book multiple rooms to accommodate everyone in the group under the same roof.
