Our 10 new en-suite bedrooms have been thoughtfully and carefully designed with only the finest furniture and we believe the most comfortable beds to be found in Essex, where a good night’s sleep is something to be guaranteed. All standard en-suites have a flat screen TV, iPod docks, Freeview and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are unique in there own ways all individually designed with fine furniture and superbly comfy beds. Iron and ironing board are available on request. Saffron Walden is a delightful medieval market town located in north-west Essex. It has a rich heritage of old buildings, including the magnificent Jacobian mansion Audley End House and Gardens. On the north side of town is Bridge End Garden, a restored Victorian garden of great charm, which contains a wonderful yew hedge maze and sunken Dutch Garden. A market has been held here since 1141, and market days are now Tuesdays and Saturdays, beyond the market place, there are many independent shops
