Norfolk House is a delightfully tasteful and spacious semi detached house in the seaside village of Staithes on the Yorkshire Coast. When you first arrive at Norfolk House, you will be greeted by the vastness of the parking that the property offers for its guests. With space enough for up to three vehicles, the entire household should have no problem fitting the cars that they need onto the property. The beating heart of Norfolk House is its living room. Tastefully decorated with pictures designed to have you reminiscing of your time spent on the seafront, you will find here is a relaxing, roomy place for the whole household to spend time together on the cosy sofa and comfy armchairs in front of the flatscreen with its DVD player. Enter the dining room and you will find the perfect place for the household to congregate, either for those great family meals together, or to just take five minutes and chill with a coffee while you talk with friends. Follow through to the kitchen and you will find the modern, fully equipped room with all that you require for your stay with us, in order to put your cooking talent to the test. Included amenities are: dishes; cutlery; crockery; fridge; freezer; toaster; coffee maker; kettle; oven and grill; electric hob; and a washing machine. Upstairs you can find the bathroom and then all three of the property bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms host double beds, both with plenty of space for guests to use, as well as storage space in the chest of drawers and wardrobes - decorated in soft yellows and creams to provide you a soothing atmosphere for your idyllic night’s sleep. The third bedroom contains a bunk bed that makes it perfect for 2, in a homely room that has more than enough storage space in the wardrobe and drawers for your stay with us. The family bathroom is sleek and modern with elegant tiled walls, containing a bath with separate shower option for your stay, as well as WC and wash basin. At the rear of the property is the garden, a wide open space that begins with a patio that spreads out onto an open grassy patch. This is an ideal space for the household to spend some time out and take in the crisp sea air. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Staithes is the quaint coastal hamlet which was recently named one of Britain’s most beautiful seaside villages. It has high cliffs, winding streets and mismatched cottages bursting with charm. The village is also known for its abundance of fossils which can be found along the small beach and in the cluster of rockpools. This area is nicknamed the ‘Dinosaur Coast’ as it’s packed with history. Staithes is a magnet for art and artists alike. Throughout the village you’ll find amazing painted illusions known as the ‘Painted Illusions Trail’ created by the famous artist Paul Czainski. It is also the home to the impressionist art society, known as Staithes Group, and their work can always be seen dotted around. Visit Staithes Gallery and browse the wonderful exhibits inspired by the village. Norfolk House is within walking distance of all that Staithes has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn and Whitby. Staithes has great bus links to surrounding areas including Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn, Middlesbrough, and Scarborough. The X4 bus runs from Middlesbrough to Whitby passing Staithes Lane End making it very accessible to other desired bays. The closest train stations are located in Saltburn and Whitby.
