Alma Studio has panoramic sea views across Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. Located in a quaint Cornish village within an AONB on the ancient St Michael's Way. Private entrance via accessible path with key safe entry. Enjoy your own outdoor deck with seating to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. Tastefully decorated comfortable accommodation with all essential amenities. A perfect location to explore West Cornwall with St Ives, Penzance and the heliport that serves the Scillies nearby. Originally an Artist's Studio, the accommodation consists of a spacious light and airy living area with a large sofa bed and full kitchen, including double oven, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. There is a utility area with washing machine , tumble dryer and a wet room, with shower, toilet and wash basin. A small dining area with cosy built in suitcase seat and chairs for reading or working, central heating in the winter months and an electric fire if needed. Guest Wifi is readily accessible and there is a Smart TV. A separate bedroom with retro furniture and a comfortable double bed offers a great night's sleep. There is unrestricted on-street parking in the village. We live on site, so are available and on call if you need any help or assistance, but will not invade your privacy during your stay. Set in the historic village of Ludgvan Churchtown on the ancient St Michael's Way . A traditional English pub - The White Hart just a short walk up the road serves great food and drink. The fabulous Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens is also within walking distance . Beautiful walks and easy access by car to local sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. Only 20 minutes by car to St Ives with its beautiful coves and art galleries. Mousehole and the prehistoric sites of Penwith are just a few miles away and a handy bus route in the village takes you into Penzance or St Ives. The amazing town of Penzance has a lot to offer with the newly refurbished Jubilee Pool , Morrab Gardens and boutique shops on Chapel Street. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Beach are not to be missed and don't visit to the famous landmark St Michael's Mount during your stay. You can visit the Scilly Isles by travelling on the Scillonian from Penzance or via the Lands End Airport or the new Heliport. If you have a car most of the local attractions can be reached very easily and there is unrestricted parking on Eglos Road available on a first come first served basis. If you don't have a car, it is easy to catch the local bus into Penzance where you can travel by train or catch other buses from the bus station. St Michael's Way passes through the village and is a very picturesque pilgrim's walk of about 12 miles.
