1868 Italianate Casa

Our home was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , we have had a lot of fun breathing new life into this old beauty. We are a work in progress. You will find vision boards on what are goals for preserving this old but beautiful place. The decor is very comfortable and relaxing. We are within walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, antique stores, and clothing boutiques. We are a work in progress, but we have been working very hard getting the apartment ready to start hosting. This old home is far from being perfect but you will be staying in a home with so much history. We are excited to share this historical home with you. This home was made into a duplex back in the '40s, my husband and I live on the first floor with our Chocolate Lab Crix We walk downtown Urbana several times a week, we have a bakery which is my favorite, the serves amazing coffee from our local roasters. The family-owned restaurants are by far the best around. We have a lot of fun going to the antique shops looking for treasures. You won't find the clothes in our clothing boutique at the mall. The driving in Urbana is easy and our home is a short walk to downtown. We have some road construction going on downtown until October (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) to make our Historic Monument Square, making walking safe and beautiful for all our local and out of town guest visiting the area. Please keep in mind the shops are still open during this time.
