Escape the campsite for the day and head to Rumford Whitecap Mountain Preserve for some great hiking trails and views. Then head over The Knotty Moose Cabins and Tavern for a delicious bite to eat or a short drive to the Bethel village for more options (restaurants, stores, gem museum & more). This natural oasis awaits your arrival! Amenities: Bathhouse on site - Hot showers & flush toilets, water refill, recharge your devices - *WE NO LONGER OFFER WOOD STOVE (FOR SAFETY OF OUR GUESTS) OR COMPOST POTTY (WE OFFER THE BATH HOUSE) The Space: Surrounded by Mountain Vistas, fields of wildflowers and a beautiful expansive skyline for stargazing. Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Other Things to Note: Please respect the property and nature Fishing is allowed with a Maine license Please carry in carry out all trash-we provide a place for you to dispose properly Absolutely no glass off the campsite! You must check in with staff upon arrival.There is no self check in Covid-19 Rules, Your site will be as always cleaned and sanitized before your arrival. We will abide by this law and update as things return to normal. Thank you Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
