"The Blue Door" - Spacious, Lakeside Cape Cod

Enjoy this spacious home right on Fancy Lake. Nestled in a leafy, private neighborhood, it is the perfect place to 'get away from it all' and yet be only 10 minutes from Bridge water. We take pride in ownership, from the professionally landscaped gardens to the antique furnishings throughout the house. *Due to Covid, I am now only accepting bookings in July, August and early September from guests within the Atlantic provinces or those folks from elsewhere who are willing to stay at least two weeks and self isolate. I will be following disinfecting protocol laid out by the Centre for Disease Control, and waiting 24 hours between reservations.* This is a unique home that has the traditional feel of a cape cod but with modern luxuries, such as state-of-the-art air conditioning and a hot tub. As you enter the home, you see attention to detail throughout. It has a great layout for entertaining and a very beautiful open kitchen with granite counter-tops. A large living room with window seats offers a cozy place to curl up and read a book. Central air-conditioning keeps the temperature very comfortable and 4 great sized bedrooms offer plenty of space. The recreation room downstairs has some gym equipment and a desk. Enjoy the hot tub, as well as the floating dock & ladder for lake swimming or just laze around in one of the Adirondacks. There is a canoe/couple of lifejackets (mandatory) for use. BBQ on the back deck is also available. Guests will be able to access the whole house except a locked storage room and the small storage shed outside. My custodian will be available Our private road offers a quiet atmosphere. There are plenty of wonderful sights nearby, from the local winery, to provincial parks, to the UNESCO renowned town of Lunenburg. The house is 2900 sq. feet. Beach towels are also provided.
