Farm House and Barn Near State Land
Custom farmhouse with remodeled bathroom kitchen and trim. Nestled back on a quiet country road and only about 5 miles to Casino, state lands, and Elk Lake Access. Pine and birdseye maple flooring in kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Custom birds eye maple countertops, and cherry/cedar cabinets. New washing machine, irrigated lawns, and 2.5 acres with some paths to explore or have a bonfire in the pasture near the old barn. There is also a fire ring close to the house. The barn on the property is likely around 150 years old. The property was originally signed into homesteading by Abraham Lincoln. Guests can use all 2.5 acres if they stay on paths. Guests can walk through the old barn but should bot climb on haylofts or use animal stables. Myself or members of my family will be available to help if needed, or for recommendations for sightseeing in the area. I was born in Traverse City and have lived there all my life. Rolling hills, quiet country road, all Michigan farms many of which are centennial. Plenty of parking in lengthy driveway. Parking on lawn or in grass is prohibited to keep the lawn or fruit trees from being damaged. For keeping horses there will be a surcharge during peak season of $200/horse/week. There should be a maximum of 2 horses here as the fenced pasture is only about 1 acre. Pre-planning snd scheduling would be required.
