Soft Parade Eco Resort is a charming, family-owned natural resort consisting of free standing cottages with a central bar and restaurant area. The cottages are a mix of wooden A-frames, earth houses, and repurposed shipping containers, all with private showers, toilets, and wooden decks one can sit on and absorb the nature with a book and cocktail in hand. The whole place aims to be seamlessly interconnected with the surrounding rainforest jungle and is still a work in progress. We are located in the heart of the island: at the foot of the famous Morne Trois Pitons volcano; on the border of the UNESCO site of Morne Trois Pitons National Park; and a walking distance form the world renowned Waitukubuli hiking trail that runs the length of the whole island. Less than half a mile off the main road connecting the capital and the main airport, we are conveniently located to make the exploration of the island as convenient and smooth as possible, while retaining the feel of total remoteness and being completely immersed in the beautiful jungle. We aim to use most of the produce in our cooking from our locally grown fruits and veggies. Throughout the more than 5 acres of pristine organic land, there are numerous fruit trees scattered around, including grapefruits, limes, oranges, avocadoes, pineapples, papayas, and breadfruits, as well as coffee shrubs and passion fruit vines, all of which are there for our guests to pick at their own leisure and are used in our cooking and wonderful selection of smoothies and cocktails in our bar, led by our London trained bartender Mike. Breakfast is always included free during your stay. We are always on site to help if you need anything and the restaurant and bar are open during the day until 9pm. The best way to get around the island is to rent a car. We can help with reservations or just recommend best companies. One can use local minivan buses which are affordable, but infrequent, especially not with people freaking out about COVID. Hitchhiking is also possible, but also more difficult with COVID as not everyone is willing to stop for strangers now.
