Villa Forconi, Luxury Rental House With Pool

Villa Forconi is on a wooded hillside high above the stunning Niccone Valley, right on the Tuscany Umbria border. This spacious and luxurious house is in the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, there are great views, no neighbours and a quiet location with fenced-in grounds. Each of the three upstairs bedrooms have their own sitting area so everyone has the opportunity to relax in their own space as well as using the large communal areas downstairs. The location of Villa Forconi is secluded but it is a great base for seeing much of Umbria and Tuscany, you can reach the Perugia - Siena raccordo (dual carriageway) in 15 minutes and be on your way to many of the must see destinations the central Italy has to offer, these include Cortona, Perugia, Siena, Arezzo, Orvieto, Gubbio, Spoleto and Florence. Lake Trasimeno, Italy's fourth largest lake is nearby, there are many places at the lake where you can paddle board, kayak, sail and swim . The small town of Tuoro sul Trasimeno is in one direction and the villages of Lisciano Niccone and Mercatale di Cortona in the other, all have restaurants and shops. The bar/ trattoria at Gosparini (Lo Scoiattolo) is a great place for drinks with a view of the Lake.
