Just a 15 min walk from Fornoli and La Villa for varities of restaurants, shops and a fantastic open air swimming pool tennis courts and post office. Ponte Serraglio is one of the main villages of Bagni di Lucca historically famous for its thermal Baths (Terme) where you can indulge in natural thermal baths, massages,facials and most beauty therapies. La Villa the main town is a short 15 min stroll with fantastic restaurants serving traditional home made pastas, pizza and many traditional Tuscan dishes. There are open air tennis courts, a fantastic open air swimming pool, mountain biking, canyoning,white water rafting, quad biking, horse tracking, wine tasting,yoga classes,cookery classes, and even paint balling all available and can be arranged by us for you before you arrive ( just let us know your requirements and we will book for you. Bagni di Lucca is a beautiful area for walking and hill climbing and local routes are available. Or you can just relax at one of the local bars ( nearest 2 mins walk away ) and enjoy coffee and Gelato watching the Italian life pass by. There is a bus stop 2 mins walk away with busses into Lucca from where you can easily reach Florence Pisa Viareggio and even Rome and Assis not to mention The Cinque Terra. The railway station is 20 mins walk away but also the bus ( see above ) stops right outside the station on its way to Lucca. If you have a car then there is a large free/safe carpark right opposite the house. many guests choosing Tuscan rooms do so as they don't have to rely on always using a car. The bus sin the square and takes you inside the ancient historic city walls of Lucca and its fabulous sights.
