Barnes Hill Retreat, with a land size of 1.45 ha, is set high upon a hill with uninterrupted panoramic views of Brisbane river, Nature Reserve and golf course. As a registered member of Land for Wildlife, a host of native animals make their homes on our property. As an all inclusive retreat, we have so much to offer and are just 30 mins drive from the city. To enhance our guest's total experience, free courtesy transport service from BNE airports and competitive check-in check-out time provided. Our guests will have the entire lower level with separate entrance, driveway and importantly, exclusive access to all recreational facilities. Adults Only & LGBTIQA+Friendly We are open to adults only due to the sloping site without fencing. Apart from that, Our retreat is owned and operated by a gay couple, we are 100% LGBTIQA+ friendly. Sustainable Living Our retreat is 100% solar-powered during daylight hours. Additionally, we have been implementing other sustainability practice such as food waste recycling and compost, chicken manure compost, rainwater recycling, bottle & can recycling, and growing our own produce.
