Our 10 new en-suite bedrooms have been thoughtfully and carefully designed with only the finest furniture and we believe the most comfortable beds to be found in Essex, where a good night’s sleep is something to be guaranteed. This lovely double bedroom can be transformed into a twin room if required. All standard en-suites have a comfortable double bed, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Saffron Walden is a delightful medieval market town located in north-west Essex. It has a rich heritage of old buildings, including the magnificent Jacobian mansion Audley End House and Gardens. On the north side of town is Bridge End Garden, a restored Victorian garden of great charm, which contains a wonderful yew hedge maze and sunken Dutch Garden. A market has been held here since 1141, and market days are now Tuesdays and Saturdays, beyond the market place, there are many independent shops
